Rain, Drain, Ballet

PNB Ballet tonight.
Meredith is treating a sister in law to Chike's Romi & Julie tonight.
I'm going along for the yuks.
Great music, Pete's

Thundering downpour a little while ago.
The drain at the end of the street gets clogged with arboreal detritus, so
I had to go out and shovel it out so the dihydrogenated oxygen could continue its quest for it's own level.

Which is all one can ask of it, I guess.

Now the sun is out and now the clouds cover and now the rain drives like Stirling Moss in a 300SLR doing centi at the Mille and now it just sits there for awhile and now the sun is back for half a 'sec and is gone again like Tara and then there was rain and then...and then
Along came Jones.

And there goes Lane

Not Tchaikovsky.
Prokofief's Romeo and it was.
Birthday a day before mine.
And a whole bunch of years.

I'll tell you more tomorrow.

I think you got a bit more
of the rain thing than we
did in the South Sound this
time around. I'm sure it will
flip-flop soon, and the rivers
will rise, and the flood
insurance will skyrocket.
Busy weekend for me.
12 ANGRY MEN was a big hit
on Friday screening; a nice
turn out of members, over 20.
Come to think of it, it did
rain like a bitch that night.
We went over to some friends
place for "mysterious chicken"
another delicacy off the Big
Green Egg my buddy cooks with.
He back it up with pork chops
and flank beef steak, taters,
two kinds of salad, and berry
pie ala'mode. He makes his own
sauces and has become quite
a cook these days. We love it.
Sunday, I got busy and did
the write up invite for the
Russian film "12", and the
research for some film
picks for our Producer's
Meeting tomorrow night. Then
I remembered that one of
our members had mentioned
that they had read the
article in CITY ARTS:TACOMA,
and had liked it. So I had
to make a run over to town
and hunt up the October issues.
Finally found some and grabbed
a couple dozen to hand out
to the clubbites. May even hand
one to you when we have the
next face time; well written
article. Dude wrote that I was
kind of handsome in a husky
Al Pacino sort of way. Melva
had some yuks over that. Takes
a lot to impress my wife.
Heard the long version of
LA Woman by the Doors on the
way in to the office this
morning; hell of a way to start
the week; love it.

We are here beyond all questions except those of being and nonbeing,
incarnation, birth, life and death.
Creation ex nihilo has been pronounced impossible even for
God. But we are concerned with miracles. We must hear the
music of those Braque guitars (Lorca).
