And this is good thing?
Or is it a bad thing?
Going to school
where I can drool
and sit on a stool
and be so cool
and follow the rule
and spend some mool-a
and maybe fight a duel
and not be a fool
or turn into a ghoul
cuz my wife's a jewel
while riding a mule
as I dip in the pool
and use the right tool
wearing underwear of wool,
oh yeah.
It's off to schule he goes,
skipping, prancing, parking
his Prius, sipping his latte,
munching his cookie,
daring the SSO nazis to
chase him or harass him,
swing by Queen Anne Hill,
run errands for his M,
make money drops from his
rentors stash, his land
baron's income.
And somewhere in the midst
of all that coolness
there is the serious study
of composition, and the
analysis of his latest
works, and chats with David,
and maybe a drop in at a
book store, to let his mind
do the walking.
There, now that can suffice
for the fill in to come,
the implied data Lane left
out, cuz he knew we followers
of his escapades could do
the fill in on the blanks.
EUREKA, I got the GBR
yesterday, the Gimp's Blue
Ribbon, on my driving test.
It was all aces. I sailed
through it like I've been
driving for 50 years; and
actually that won't be true
to the end of June, so I
had to fake it. I was
exhausted in the afternoon;
had been so tense and pumped
for the test that I deflated
like a fat helium balloon;
even my voice went up as
I returned to the office.
Yeah, Glenn, it's getting like numbering the jokes.

It is a good thing, as Lane's professor, David Metzler is a good teacher from all I've heard, and Lane's compositions are getting better and better!!
