Goodbye to all that
Well I just watched my three most interesting cars disappear up the street on the backs of a couple of trailers.
I suppose I could wax nostalgic about it, but not wanting to wax is one of the reasons for getting rid of them.
I am planning on a retrospective photo blog. Soon as I get some of my old pics scanned.
Today, it's back to tiling the kitchen counters.

I am 332 yrs old today, I wrote, 1200 pieces of music, maybe even more.
All of 'em masterpieces.
You think you're some kind of composer?
I say HAH! HAH!
Neener, neener, you little phony computer faker you.
...Johan Sebastian BACH!!!
Wow, will wonders never cease? Those cars have been a part of your life for over 30 years. The Alfa, the Bristol, and the Fiat--auf weidersein, ciou, bye-bye. Palmer without a yard full of esoteric cars is a "new" Palmer. Some kind of life changing epiphany or what? You have not worked on them for years. Your knuckles are so clean it is frightening. I don't know whether to be proud of you, or sad.
As to Johnny Bach belittling your composing efforts, he can soak his head in bock beer. He belongs in the mists of yesterday. Palmer is today, computer program and all. So as you find your way through the morass of musical possibilities, and emerge with something 21st century, something fresh, then let the classics molder and mellow in the mire of the past. My three dollars is on you, bucko. You are my huckleberry as Doc Holliday used to say.
Some kind of huge transition coming up for you, I guess. Nothing left but Gokweis and the VW van, and the stalwart Volvo. Who knew? Who could have seen it coming? No one, that's who.
Glenn
Look, I'm sorry. I got a real load on yesterday.
I actually did soak my head in beer, it wasn't bock, it was...actually I don't know what is was.
Today, I have a katzenjammer headache
that promises to last as long as PDQ.s
So, sorry about the childish insults.
I am still the greatest, however.
