Splog

You don't need to read this.
This is just a record of my rides.
Splog is a made up word that I use to tag all these records.
It sorta means specifications log.

11.9 miles
1:07:56 hours
9.9 mph average
31.1 max speed
1485 miles on the odometer

Didn't see Ophelia anywhere on the trip.

That's pretty good for bike riding. Wish I could resume bike riding again, but current physical ailments prevent me from doing so.

At least I can walk about five to six miles every weekend.

It is quite a feat, actually,
that Fidelio is hitting the
pavement this mid-winter.
These mild temps are really
incredible. We seem to be
El Nino's chosen region.
Where was the ride happening
this time; that data is kind
of interesting too.
I love the fist pic, and you
are right, it don't need a
comment to accompany it.
Ophelia is being coy, I
presume. I am surprised that
Emily has not raised a fuss
regarding all the attention
Ophelia has received over the
last week or so.
Wow, 14 feet of rod, with a
weak middle. Guess you will
have to rig some kind of truss
or spindle or harness for it.
Or break down and actually
purchase a 14 foot wooden
dowling. I have been doing
research on the Palmer Poetry
we were referring to previously.
I have trudged through about
50% of the archives and have
found nearly 70 poetic items.
I have a feeling that the
number 100 will be approached
soon. I will type up a list
after that, with titles and
dates of posting. Do you want
it emailed to you, or posted
here in the infamous and
ribald comments section?
I changed up my morning routine
today, something significant
for me, this old dog that does
not respond well to change.
I am eating breakfast at home
before I leave. I had eaten
at the office for several years
now, but now that I only have
this pitifully small desk over
in the corner, it just is not
fun, nor convenient any more.
It puts me into a later flow
of traffic, of course, which
will take some more getting
used to. We have a Tacoma Film
Club monthly meeting tonight,
discussing A SINGLE MAN, SAFE,
and PERSONA. We are going to
try and to do a Wi Fi demo
using a lap top to plug into
our big screen, and demonstrate
the club website and blogsite
for those folks who have not
taken advantage of it yet.
Melva's broke foot seems to
finally be healing some.
It is already into Week 9.
Her bone density test came
back clean, so no future worries
there.

If they sold 14 footers I wooda bought a 14 footer.
We're gonna put in an extra hanger in the middle.
El Nino doesn't like the winter Olympics.
