Heceta Head

That's Heceta Head as viewed from the beach at the end of the hobbit trail.

On the coast trail between the hobbit beach and Heceta Head.

Glimpses of the beach from the trail.

Stalwart travelers approach the lighthouse from above

Heceta Head sea stacks.

There is an interesting bridge over the mouth of the river at Heceta Head, but the camera took a short movie of it instead of a still.
don't know what that's all about.
OR how to control that feature, but it is intriguing that the camera can do that.

I'm saving a couple shots of the Cape Perpetua overlook for a later post.

No jokes today.

Lucky for you.

More terrific pics. Heceta Head would be a great place for a stroll, for sure. You two look like you were having fun, sniffing up all that dampness, being caressed by all that mist, hoods up, hats pulled down, gortexed to the max. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure that many visitors enjoy the snaps without commenting. Just click in and slink away, just a number on your counter, no words, no voice, cyber shadows, quiet visitors.

I deleted 95% of my Sherwin Bitsui postings, as he requested. It is always such a bummer when I can have mucho fun doing something, and lo and behold it has pissed off or offended someone else, and I need to be bitch-slapped. Must be the phases of the moon. Same kind of shit is happening with the TFC, and here at the office. I am just a muckraker, a trouble maker, too much moving and shaking, too intense, too radical, too liberal, too selfish.

Anyway Meredith looks cute as hell in her knit hat, smiling so hard it hurts. Hope that Fidelio is being prepped for yet another ride. You may have to break down and take her to an actual bike shop and let them put the hot wrenches to her, enit?

The bike shops are where the problems started in the first place.
Years ago I took it to REI and it never shifted right since.

I know about the copyright thing, but it seems to me if you have something on line and somebody else posts it on line, no change has been made, so where's the complaint?

It's like if you put up a bill board on Aurora Ave.and somebody copies it on Mercer st.

The 'net is a public place.
Bitsui is just being a jerk.
