Molly on the shore
Driving through the chimeric mists to get to this.
More later, got to do stuff for the house in time to get to the Drums Along the Pacific festival tonight.
Last night's show was Henry Cowell.
Tonight it's Lou Harrison
Saturday it will be John Cage.
And Sunday will feature Gamelan Pacifica.
But now I must go to the store.
See Y'all later

I hope you had a successful trip to the store?
I am afraid of stores, get everything delivered in.
Hallo, Lane (& Meredith!)!
Great photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hallo, Jannie!
I can't afford "fear of stores"!
(I.e., I can't afford home delivery.)

More stirring and fun pics, hey! Who is in the yellow rubber suit shots, you or M? Sounds like your cultural stimulation is nearing an apex or frenzy. It must be cool to have so much to choose from.
Melva and I went out into the South Sound snow yesterday, drove down the back way to Morton, and then over to Packwood, to the Cruiser Tavern for terrific pizza and gizzards. Melva likes the gizzards, not me. Actually she still likes me too. The roads were clear, and the sun shown some, but the snow was up to 6" deep here and there.
I managed to lose my VA name tag on Friday somewhere between my medical appointment and our Friday night meal out. It is a pure hassle to get another one. This is my third replacement. Getting old, I guess.
On Saturday I found a treasure trove of poetric prose over on Sherwin Bitsui's blog site, and I posted a bunch more of it on FFTR. He does not write as emotionally as Sherman Alexie, but he really is a wordsmith. He did a lot of book tours and poetry readings with groups of Native American poets, including Joy Harjo. Small world out there perhaps.

Store venture a reasonable success.
Meredith is in the yellow Land's end jacket.
I am in the sweater and red goretex shell.
Odd, but even after reviewing the pics several times, I can't find one with a figure wearing a red Gortex shell.......oh, it's a funny, a pun, a bit of satire.
Regardless, at least you got next to the Pac Ocean in her late winter fury, and those mists got all over you. Great wet fun, eh?
For some reason, most of us thought the majority of trip pics were always snapped by Meredith, but perhaps you snap your share too?
The VA is putting me through 14 kinds of BS to get a new name tag. After 9/11, in theory, I can not even be on the premises without one, yet they have decided not to issue any more temporary badges. Go figure.
I shed about two inches of hair length yesterday, and now my neck is freezing. It is just one damned thing after another, enit?
