Sometimes

getting a little exercise helps one's mood, due to the raised heartrate thingy.

Distance 16.6 miles
Time on the trail 1:21:57 hours, minutes, and seconds
Average speed 12.1 miles per hour
Maximum speed 35.4 miles per hour
Total miles since I got the "compteur" 535 miles

I've got to go now to my big machine with the Garratan Orchestra and the Sibelius and prepare for tomorrow's class.

I just did some Paul McCartney quotes. He said, "If all slaughterhouses had glass walls, we would all be vegetarians." Pretty heavy, enit?

Crap, that was my day yesterday. I got off work promptly and fought my way downtown to Tacoma in prep for a 5:30 TFC Executive Committee Meeting. I had a good meal of cajun chicken, and then stopped by Bartell's to pick up my twice monthly case of Talking Rain orange mango drink. They order it for me, and have done for months. The manager who handles this has "moved on", so there was zip waiting for me. I made some arrangements with the newest manager, and will check back in a couple weeks. "What kind of horseshit is this?" I asked of myself. Little did I know at that time.

At 5:20pm I arrived at the One Heart Wifi cafe, next to the Grand Theater. No one there yet, so I went over to the Grand, and made arrangements to have our meeting in their lower lobby; which we do when we can; most of us being members of the theater group, and disussion leaders there. No one had arrived by 6pm, which was mighty strange. I began thinking I had shown up on the wrong night. I went next door to the Wifi cafe, and looked up my email, and no one had canceled the meeting. I phoned a couple of the members, left messages. At 6:20pm I gave up and went home. Five committee members had spaced the meeting. No one showed. I sent out a scathing pissed off email to the group. Apologies are arriving as we type. Some days things get very strange out here.

Some days you pass the bear in the woods, some days the bear passes you.

I'm studying composition with David Mesler at Seattle community College, private lessons.
