My new truck
I bought a new Chevy Avalanche and returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work.
The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.
''Nelson,'' the salesman said to the radio. The radio replied, ''Ricky or Willie?''
''Willie!'' and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.
Then he said, ''Ray Charles," and ' Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.
I drove away happy, and for the next few days every time I'd say, ''Beethoven,''
I'd hear his music, and if I said, ''Beatles,'' I'd get one of their songs.
Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him.
I yelled, ''Ass Hole!''
Immediately the radio responded, "Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, or Sarah Palin?"
Damn, I love this truck.

The LL just flewback to Germany at 6:30p.m. (it's now 8:20 p.m.).
CONGRATULATIONS on your new truck and its MOST discerning radio!!
Before leaving,the LL said (as usual) (in German)"Please give my regards to Meredith, Doug, and Keth."
Rather than waiting until I each Redwing just before midnite (and wake the whole house to do so),I'm doing so now. Also to let you know that the villain entering your kitchen at that time of night is not a burglar trying to steal the remains of your dinner, but only me trying to st up sleeping bag on the air mattress.

P.S. The LL was unable to access her e-mail while she was in LA, so, if Meredith sent her the promised one,the LL won'tgey it until after tomorrow.
