It's not over 'till the horse frys

Alas Meredith was forced to abandon the KING-FM airing of Gotterdammerung due to a family event.

To wit, nephew Derrick's fifth birthday party.

It was a pirate themed extravaganza with eye patches, and plastic swords, earrings and a good time was had by all
Not entirely due to the magnificent cake and a treasure hunt that increased the bounty and allowed every one of the under six year olds to walk off with something.

I walked off with a bit of a sugar rush and thinking about sausage.

That's all for today

A pirate party, now that must have been a gas. And to have a treasure hunt with real six year old treasure is wonder of wonders. All those stuffed parrots, rum jugs full of root beer, plastic swords, and eye patches must have revved up your creativity. Perhaps now you will compose a Palmer and Savant operetta about a lonely pirate king who is afraid he is turning gay from all those years at sea with sweaty men.

A sugar rush leads to a sugar crash and naptime. A sausage leads to clogged arteries, high BP, TIAs, CVA, and several kinds of infarctions.

Check out TWIT-KU LIVES over on FFTR.
