Hallo, Lane!
Here, the meteorology has not been schizophrenic, but completely consistent: Nothing but sun for three whole weeks!!
Despite this, I have long-ago booked a flight to Seattle arriving the afternoon of Wed.,
13 May, so I should get to Redwing St. sometime in the late-afternoon or early-evening.
This morning I called the manager of the chamber music quartet to learn if hae has reached a judgment on your superior string quartet; he still (since getting it on 7 March(!) has yet to hear it/look at the score(!)! He said he should get to it in early May (the season here ends early on 30 April and he has a string quartet performance on 2 May (for which I take tickets as a volunteer). Wish us success (with your string quartet)!!!
If he doesn't want it, I'll try another string quartet, but that might be hard, as the theater will be on early vacation (as mentioned above, for renovation); then thereafter, the earliest I can get it to another group will be when I return here on 15 July and they'll be doing "Zauberfloete" in the open air Festival (in July) and the musical "Sorbas, the Greek" in August.
Regards (also from the LL) to Meredith and Keth. Please tell Meredith that I'll be returning to Redwing in the late afternoon of 13 May (THANKS!).
Tschüß,
Anonomann
Looking forward to your arrival.
