Cat news

The Cat came back, a little worse for the wear.
She's at the vet getting a tune, lube, wash and wax.

Cats will do that, leave when they get the chance, have a feline grand adventure, and then make the incredible journey home; if they can.

I wonder how far your cat made it from home? Just 3 blocks away at some nice old lady's house who fed her, and kept him a prisoner for some time? Or was it chasing a wharf rat up by the park, better yet down by Boeings, and ended up chasing it up a rope and into a hold of some kind of delivery freighter, and then got sealed in the hold. The ship sailed up to the locks, out into salt water of the Sound, and then up to Everett to get some more goodies for the Renton plant from the Everett plant.

It caught the rat, and several others, so all this time it had plenty to eat, as it waited to get free. The hold was opened when they reloaded, but the crew and the crane made so much noise, it cowered in the crud, and was a scareddy cat, and did not come out. It returned to Renton Boeings, the ship, with Puss aboard. There were no more rats, so it started yowling as only a Puss can, and was discovered by workmen, who put it on the pier, where it proceeded to hot paw it back to your pad. Or something like that, enit?

Her ears are scraped bald on the ends
there's open wounds over her eyes and her nose looks bumpy and maybe crooked.
She only weighs about 2/3 what she did.
Nobody took her in and fed her, that's fer shur.

Hallo, Lane (& Cat)!
You say (typed) this cat is the "sensible" (or something like that) one; I find the hairy one more sensible. How did the Returnee get all beaten up?? Was she trying to steal some other kitty's husband??
