Chutzpa redux
You beady-eyed lawyer types may have noticed the subtle message in my last post.
The Symphony sent me a threatining letter barring me from any entrance into the building.
A few days later the Symphony sent me a letter offering to sell me goods and services in the building.
The Symphony has solicited cash for goods and services that thay have no intention of delivering.
And they did it using the United States Post Office.
I wonder if the geniuses at Davis Wright Tremaine can think of a legal description for that sort of activity?

Surely, Lane, the symphony as a whole can't be that irresponsible.
It's probably just some incompetent, loose cannon type who acts without thinking.
Someone who never has heard of the "Golden Rule"
There is obviously something very wrong with this whole picture. What is at the core of it? Is it worth trying to fix?
Re: "Loose cannon", have you read Meighan's "crosswalk" entry for 22 Jan?? It's topic is the Biblical quote "Treat others as you would like them to treat you". She should have followed her own advice. Also you did not mention Sea Symph's attempt to keep you from using a public sidewalk in Seattle.
"Anonymous" corrects its grammatical error in the above comment: The possessive of "it" is "its".
Anonymous, I mentioned the sidewalk incident to the ACLU
Hi lane nice to see you on my blog.thanks for stopping.have a great weekend.
What did the ACLU do/say??
I havn't heard back from them yet.
When I submitted a complaint to the city last fall they told me there was a statute of limitations (for me, not for them)so I don't expect much
The Sea Symph just announced their ticket prices for the 2007-08 season. Benaroya will probably be the only concert hall in the world that charges more (MUCH more) to sit in the 3rd tier than in the 2nd tier; in fact it will be as much as a seat in the prime part of the "Orchestra" seating area. Is someone "nuts" at Benatoya or simply trying evily to bankript the Symphony?????
