Bike stuff!!

40.62 miles
9.6 mph average
28.4 max speed
4:12:40 time
2127.5 odometer
Weather was good cool with some sun and no rain.
Bit of confusion by where they are building the tunnel disaster.
Good Taco at Aqua Verde by the U.
Lots of fun but my neck hurts.

And where were you, near the Battery
Street Tunnel? Certainly not the waterfront?
You are a rider sir, and it is a
testament to your grit that your
age does not prevent you from such
rolling and pumping.

As to your handmade instruments,
perhaps you should promote yourself,
you know, contact the Seattle Times
and talk to the Public Interest or
Community News reporter, and have
them do a spread on you. You are
just the kind of character they need
to spark interest in their rag, and
who knows, you might sell some
stuff.

Getting from the top of Beacon hill down to the trail along the waterfront is hampered at the south end of the viaduct by the work on the great hwy 99 tunnel disaster.

Jannie, Aqua Verdi is on Boat street on the north side of the canal.
Right next to University hospital.
You can rent canoes and kayaks there, too.

Hallo, Lane!!
While you were out on this bikeride, the Lovely Librarian was out biking on Usedom Island with a Brit who is also a bike racer, but she shared no statistics on his ride (he races; she rides).
Tschüß,
Anonomann
P.S. I was spending the 10 days at various opera houses in Berlin, Lübeck, and Rostock, seeing Carmen 2x, Pique Dame, Rusalka, Zauberflöte, Kiss Me,Kate, and Bettelstudent.
