News from the liberal neo-monarchist press

This just in;
President Obama has just made the Republican party illegal.
Arrests start in 5 minutes.

Nice ferry ride Sunday.
Anacortes to San Juan Island
Four whole minutes to see the sights in Friday Harbor, then on to Orcas, Shaw, and Fidalgo then slowly back to Anacortes and Seattle.
Made it back in time to once again get cheated out of SNL by NBC's crappy coverage of the O'limpics.

Waved to Alex on the way by, but doubt she noticed.

Special note to Blue Bunny; He said it in French.

Then What?

Usual stuff, scores,, Cds, trying to engineer a steaming thingy for the sides of the Ukuleles. The violin bender is not very efficient as it only heats up a small area of the wood.
Perhaps if I can steam the whole piece it will bend more smoothly.

I know I bend more smoothly when I'm steamed.

Once again, I have run out of ideas, if any of the foregoing can be considered ideas.

Ophelia, Ophelia
What's the deal ya
Left me all alone
Beside the telephone
Waitin' for your call
Don'cha know your all
I long for in a world
Won'cha be my girl

Ophelia, Ophelia,

WHAT MAKES YOUR BIG HEAD SO HARD?

Wait a minnit, that's Caledonia
Me and Cal are soooo over an' she knows why.

I gotta go now, the SWAT team has the house surrounded.

CNN has announced that Ron Paul
is the new Republican hope, with
Sarah Palin running for Pres
and him as VP. Do you think
Obama and his mama will run
for a second term? Probably.
Will he succeed? Against Palin,
maybe, but Ron Paul...?
Nice decision to drive a 100
miles north to ride the Island
ferry for the whole loop; must
have been beautiful. Slowly
back to Seattle indeed. There
are entirely too damned many
people in the Northwest, and
the number goes up daily
as immigrants from California
show up with pockets full of
cash, ruining our housing
market; them and the Japanese,
the Chinese, and the Arabs,
enit?
Voltaire used to like to swear
bunches in French. One of
his favorites was "Sookmeblue!"
Perhaps you still have that
light bulb go off one evening
or one morning and the
"steamy thing" will be born,
then engineered and utilized.
Maybe we will see you on
the Seattle episodes of COPS?
Did the SWAT team come in from
the neighbor's south side of
the yard too; kind of clogged
up your cul de sac though.
Wouldn't be great if Barack
actually became a demogogue,
and emulated Huey Long,
and George W. Bush. Chaney has
had his fifth heart attack,
and BLACKWATER has changed
their name but not their tactics
it seems. Don't know why they
used a character's name off
SOUTH PARK to check out
automatic weapons, when there
are all those cool names on
THE SIMPSONS.
I think there is some poetics
in your final paragraphs and
lines; gonna post them
regardless. I do have the
PALMER POETRY list made up
and later today, perhaps,
I will post that too; cool.
42 degrees and rainy this
fine double Beatles/Led/Doors
Wednesday. The commute is
becoming easier as some part
of my consciousness is becoming
aware of only a few more months
of it, before my old Isuzu gets
a rest. It just flipped over
on 200,000 miles this morning;
no biggy for you, but that is
the longest I ever had a vehicle.
Melva is getting ready to fly
to Texas on Saturday for a
three day conference and a
visit with her mother.

I think you've had a school
day again, and that report
is on the back burner, on its
way to fruition. I am stunned
that no one, so far, has made
a comment about your rather
impressive list of poetics.
But then things always seem
more important to the person
involved with them, enit?
Melva is gearing up for her
Texas trip next week.
I am taking Monday off
just to find some more time
for going to movies, working
on TFC stuff, and screwing
the pooch.
You are probably ready for
another road trip here pretty
soon, right?
Spring is around the corner.
The Southwest is beckoning.
Rick Mobbs has invited Melva
and I to drop by his home
in New Mexico this summer.
Hope that works out.
My latest poet fetish is
with Stephen Dunn, Pulitzer
prize winning poet, and
ex-professional basketball
playing professor. [Yeah,
yeah, no body makes a living
writing poetry except the
great Alexie].
