It figures
It seems that the instant I get a digital camera, the picture thingey quits working
and I cant post 'em. It obviously used to work. There is my ugly face and my stupid amphibian. To whom do I complain? I am going to run through all the menus again and see what I can find.

hang in there man the darn things can be fixed but you need to do some playing with it.mine went on the fritz more times then I like to say.and I had to pray my self thougth it.how the Lord fixed it is beyond me.see Iam so computer illiterate its not funny.all I can say is get on your pic thingy and just go slow and you may get it back.God bless you.

Here's a trick I use sometimes... On the dashboard, select the post with your anphibian picture (or any post that includes a picture)and click edit. Add your new image to that post. This generally works, because it's already accepted an image. Click on the html tab, and copy the code for the image, which will be on the top. Return to the compose mode, click on the picture and hit delete. Get out of that post and back to your new post, the one that won't accept images. Click on the html tab, paste the image, return to compose and voila, it should be there!
I've also noticed one other thing. I type the headline for my post, but don't format it. Then I add the image. I always uncheck the boxt that says keep this format for all images, and I always check medium for the size. After my images are loaded, I reformat the title and add the text. Knock on wood, this has seemed to work every time recently.
