Waiting

Now
I know it is too late.
If she was going to come it would have been by now
The flowers I brought are going limp
Turning brown
Yet I wait
As I have waited before
As I wait now for all those who
Hover In my dreams

I prefer the other - thought both are impressive Magpies.

(BTW . . anybody know how these f****ng nuisance VW's are generated? You can cancel them - but only in the comment settings of the "old style" dashboard. They don't reappear when you re-engage the new style. So Pleeeeease - so we don't waste valuable writing/commenting time like I'm doing here. Pleeeeease!)

Been there, felt that. You portray the pain of betrayal very well.

Are those limp flowers in your pants
, your hands, or your mind, sir?
It is always a thrill when you take
pen in tow and create poetics;
love the existential despair.

Hallo, Glenn Buttkus!
It is always a thrill when I can stay with what you write until I reach the end; this time I succeeded!!!
