Tess's African mask looks
a lot like a Disney mouse
to me; go figure. Your piece
smacks of the spiritual, and
like a lot of your short poems,
it pounds that nail in our palm
before we see the cross.
So many people wandering the Earth wearing masks ... without souls. Sad.
I've come to expect simple and powerful here. You did not disappoint.
But they're still kinda eerie!
I'm just glad if they don't come back to life before my very eyes!
