Finally -
A use for these boring bike statistic blogs.
Got ready for a ride this morning only to find the battery in the computer dead.
Replacing it required re setting the time and wheel circumference.
And I could look up what the previous odometer total was
right here on this very blogsite.
35.07 miles
9.5 average speed (tired and a pint low on blood)
33.5 max speed.
3:41:02 hours on the trail.
2254 on the previously mentioned odometer.
Nice day, sun in the morning and light clouds later -
when the mad dogs and Englishmen came out.
I'm contemplating the irony of a bicycle having a dead battery.
Actually it has two, like an MGA.

Hallo, Lane, from Prince George, Canada!!
Glad you were able to fix your bike-computer better than I could fix my now-dead printer; I MISS it!!!!
Tschuess,
Anonomann
bike computer, phone computers,
wrist and palm surfers, so pulled
into nano-bites that there prehistoric
elders, larger than mastodons, reduced
first to the size of dishwashers, then
laundry baskets, will some day too soon
be a micro-chip inserted first in our
neck and then our genitals.
