You call that a ride?

2.42 miles
14.42 minutes.9.8 average.
36.2 maximum speed.
1909.6 on the odometer.
Didn't feel like riding.
Didn't feel like sitting around playing computer games.
Didn't feel like reading.
Didn't feel like watching TV
Didn't feel like

Still don't

Lane Savant,

This is my 'traditional' zone for jogging (which I don't do anymore).

I do walk, sometimes a couple of miles in the night, in the dark.

In the cold. Irish touring cap covered by hood. Gloves, walking shoes, furled umbrella (doubles as martial arts weapon).

Fit.

Then I'm back here at a console bending my back and ruining my vision.

It's a hard life, being a writer.

Well, it may be a hard life being
a writer, TF, but it beats the alternative.
There are so many out there who
experience the wonders of life
and cannot express their feelings
in any particular way.

Malaise can set in before one
realizes it, I'm sure; all those
landlord chores calling, and the
nerves about your next couple of
concerts coming up can contribute
to the melee.

I, it seems, am still in the
retirement honeymoon, deep
into several projects, undergoing
various mind set and new dimensions
to old attitudes and possessions;
scary yet fascinating.

You may have noticed that I just
wrote a new "nonsense" poem
called BLEDASHH OF BANGLADORE,
using a dozen "word verification"
terms, and weaving them into a
story poem. Today's verification
is "elfad", another winner.

Well, at least you felt like posting, and I'm glad you did!

Sittin' on me arse today.

But the day is young.

So young.

And the wind and
the leaves are
throwing a party.

They seemed in a festive mood here today, too.
Except for the soggy ones on the ground that I ran over.
