Horn Sonata

6 Hours today at the computer, now I have two movements of a horn/piano sonata.
But not a clue as to an amusing and/or surreal blog.

Finally saw "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" on TV
That was Friday.
Finally heard "Stinking Badges" at the source.
That was also Friday.
Concurrently with the movie.
On TV.

The house is all painted and all the windows unstuck.

Check in with yez later.

Some of the commenters that logged
in 30 times on your Book party
posting are still waiting for you
to answer some inquiries?

1. How goes the construction of
the ukulele and kid's violins?

2. Can you compose blues or
rock and roll with your computer
programs?

3. Are you getting pumped up
about Sea Fair yet?

A good trivia question is what is
the name of the actor in THE
TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE
who uttered those famous lines:
"Badges? We don't need no stinking
badges!" I think it was Alfonso
Bedeyo.

PREDATORS actually turned out to
be a good popcorn movie with
Adrien Brody and Laurence
Fishburne. It is a part of the
Predator series. It would be
number seven in the lexicon.

Do we have to start calling your
domicile Greenwing Manor now?
Cool that is sports a fresh coat
of paint. That will feel good
for at least a year.

What kind of horn did you use
on the sonata? Several kinds?
How far away is it from your
juke box posting?

After I finish the watering this
morning, I my just stay home
and do projects. I am still digging
out some old photos of my
grandfather's paintings, cuz
my cousin wants to make
prints of some of them, and
offer them on the catalog
list for his new love, ARTISTS
FOR OCEANS AND ANIMALS.

Right now it's only a notion,
but I think I can get the money
to make it into a concept,
and later turn it into an idea.

Actually, my cousin's concept,
Artists for Oceans and Animals,
is pretty cool. If you want to get
more information about it you
can click on http://sydneysthumb.com/
Sydney's Thumb is his web site,
and AOA is now a part of it.
As an artist/musician/composer
you might be a welcome addition
to such an effort. Check it out.

Where would Jesus be
if no one had written
the gospels?

Hell of a question, Chuck.
But where would our attention
be if Steve Job and Bill Gates
had not been such geeks?
Where would the world be
if Doug Palmer had not decided
to become a serious composer
like 13 years ago?
When it comes to the gospels,
remember that they have been
messed with, edited, and rewritten
over the ages. I, for one, am more
partial to the Gnostic gospels,
especially the Gospel of Mary
Magdalene.

I have made the molds for the violins and am thinking about woods.
Sure, blues, rock new age, all i gotta do is wanna.
And work at it.
For the now, I'm sticking to chamber duets.
Seafair isn't as much fun since they blocked off Lk Wash blvd and charge admission.
The Blue eagles don't pass as close to the house as they did when we lived at Leschi.
Used to be able to see the pilots head as they made a close pass.

Hallo, Lane, Meredith, & Keth!!
Glad the windows are now unstuck; maybe I'll be less glad when I return in Winter and it really is a winter!! "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof!" I don't know who/what is thr source of that quote.

Anonomann
