So, go listen to these folks.

I'll have to go to the library to upload the new music, I guess.

Support the arts.

Art, of all genres and disciplines, is important to, and necessary
for a healthy society, and world.

It's the soulless jerks who can't keep a beat who cause all the trouble.

On a tangentially related note,

Hey! Hey!

We'll be back to "Road to Ruins" soon... maybe tomorrow.

Hey, Savant, here's what it says in your profile

"I can't sing, I can't dance, I can't play a musical instrument"

You soulless jerk!

I still think you're the one causing all the trouble.
Don't go trying to blame it all on your sister.

It would be great to see you if you can make the concert-- thanks for posting the info. Larry is awesome, and I'm sure Dawn is terrific (I have not met/heard her yet, so this will be a treat).

Maybe we can even cajole Poet Buttkus to join in the fun...

Hallo, Lane!
Does "Smartallica" "work" on the 5th floor of the Cuckucks' Nest??
Tschuess,
Anonomann
P.S. The LL sends her regards (as always) to you, Meredith, and Keth. She (and I) also hope "Fuzzy-the-Cat" finally gets homesick (or just plain sick-and-tired and decides to return in one piece to your cozy abode.

How nice to get in line behind such fervent commentors.

Smartallica, what you need to realize it that vapid void called your cranium is that most really talented, vastly intellectual, self-educated blue collar geniuses are always self-deprecating; it goes with the package, part of the bundle. Palmer fits all the symptoms, way too smart, out of social alignment, spends too much time alone, even during his vocational career, and has never honed his socialization skills, can design, build, or create most anything, or make a thingamajig that will mold it, or render it down. 50 years ago he played lead guitar like Duane Eddy, or Eddy Emerald, but after smashing his knuckles for decades on other people's Beamers and Ferraris, all his callouses were on the wrong places on his fingers. He may not be a dancer, I don't know or remember, but he sucks all the air out of a room when he enters, he glows with an aura that is both fascinating and frightening, he is both humble and braggacious, but when the chips are down, when it comes to the nut cutting, he is your man. So get over it.

Next Tuesday, Alex and all just does not work for me--again. Remember I am off to bed at 8pm and up at 0245am, to be at my office by 5am, so that I can write and blog and get ahead on my official paperwork. Getting home late on a week night just would cripple the next two days; and unfortunately my monthly medical treatments are here again, for Thursday and Friday. I am sad to miss what will probably be a wonderful concert. Nice to hear that Alex will attend, and thanks for the warm cajoling and invite. But Buttkus, the old bear poet, can not emerge from his lair during the proletarian days. Week ends are usually a different story.

Some day we FFTLites should storm the fifth floor of the Cuckock's Nest, and give them what for. Maybe Alex could post our bail as we are hauled off by the SSO gestapo.

I hosted a TFC screening last night, a Russian/German film called KING OF THIEVES. Tonight I return to the Center for Spiritual Learning, with its 100 plush and comfortable chairs, big screen, and state of the art sound system, to host a Bhutanian film, TRAVELLERS AND MAGICIANS, which should give everyone a lift. Bhutan is that land-locked kingdom that was the prototype for Shangrila.
