I'm trying hard to believe this
Courage
It takes only a bit
To unclench the fist
To open the palm to offer or accept
To put down the weapon
To stand and face the love
To stand and deliver your own
It takes only a bit
To open the door
And see a friend
Where once stood an enemy
It takes only a bit
To unclench the fist
To open the palm to offer or accept
To put down the weapon
To stand and face the love
To stand and deliver your own
It takes only a bit
To open the door
And see a friend
Where once stood an enemy

Did you write this poem? It's so right on target. Thanks!
Yeah, I wrote it. I'm trying to keep my courage up to do something that I consider morally correct that is considered otherwise by some people. But, of course it is a thought for all I love.
Heron, you certainly know how to make me think. Before your question I would have said there is no connection at all. Now, however, I begin to wonder
The butterfly is gone and the incident happened too fast to need courage. Perhaps the courage is to go on not knowing when or where other possibilities might occur or what thier nature might be.
Approaching the butterfly, wow, I guess just being willing to accept that butterflies come and butterflies go and though we can control our actions, we cannot control our feelings.
If you are not a psychaiatrist, you should be.
