Night ride on highway 101

Bus Trip

Speeding
through the clouded night
binary stars passing
at the speed of light
distant red stars pulsing
left and right
square, round, diamond
galaxies reflecting
far off
buffeted by dark matter,
unseen hands
interstellar winds
rocking the bus
the cradle

Was Ken Kesey on the bus with you?
Tremendous piece, and God knows
where it was whelped from. You are
developing a better poet with each
effort. I feel honored to have dozens
of your poems posted on my site.

That is to say, "you are
developing into a better poet",
but then you already knew
that, enit?

This is from years ago when we took the train to LA and they had to bus us around a mudslide on the tracks.
An accurate description of the ride.At least the part I was awake for.
I'm sure it's already on your site, Glenn
